Here's a little info on where I'll be riding:
Bulldog loop/Lakeside lateral loop
Distance: 15 miles
Difficulty: easy to difficult
Elevation: 3500 feet gain/loss
Lodcation: Malibu Creek state park
Little history: THe Chumash Native Americans had their largest Santa Monica settlement here.
Later on the area was purchased by 20th Century Fox, as a movie ranch, since the settings was perfect for recreation of various locations around the world. Many Tarzan movies was shot up there, as well as M.A.S.H... I believe there's still a few burned up jeeps from the MASH set still up there...(I've never done that trail before)
