So, I have a question for those who have broken a scaphoid, and more specifically anyone who may have had avascular necrosis (bone death) later on. Were there any real symptoms that made you suspect the bone was dying??
I have noticed lately that my palm at the base of my thumb seems to bruise really easy lately. I'm curious if anyone else noticed this in correlation with a dying scaphoid.
It hasn't been particularly sore lately, at least no more than usual. But this is the second time I've been like, "WTF, that shouldn't have left a bruise!!"
