"We're grateful that this court ruled on the evidence presented in this case, but in this case there are no winners or losers, we still have to live with a death." Patrick J. Lynch, President of New York's Police Benevolent Association, said in a statement to the media outside the courthouse.

Actually it was 2 black cops and 1 white cop, 50 bullets into an unarmed black man. Somehow I don't think this is over.
Really? What were the names of the officers that shot Amadou Diallo?

This will be quickly forgotten. I figured as long as the police had reason to believe this was a dangerous suspect, correctly or not, they would be acquitted.

Only when you kill or injure a suspect after apprehension is when punishments are meted out.

I had already forgotten about it, until I was reminded by the news story today. You might have noticed that Mr. Sharpton is involved. That should keep people pissed off about it for a while.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a socialist. Al Sharpton is without a doubt the epitome of unfettered capitalism.

I'm surprised to find you openly admiring a communist. What next manimal? "Massages" and meth with a male prostitute? You're not a preacher, so I doubt you'd sink that low...

yes, MLK was a socialist, but everyone's a libertarian in heaven so that helps me justify my inconsistency. Sharpton exploits his own people which skews my perception of how capitalism should work; he's supposed to exploit other brown people, not his own.

i gave up the massages and meth years ago, those lanky little man-whores get clingy to us freckled folk.
