Had pork fajitas last night. They were awesome. Lady friend and I got them and a few other meals from one of those food/meals delivered to your door type places. We did the trial week for 50% off the regular price, which seems worth the price as the food is good; we cancelled beyond the trial week though as $90 per week is steep for 4 meals.

Ride night tonight with the buddies. I am ready to ride. Just need to get this work horseshit out of the way.

my experience was similar with those. good food / recipes, but at full price? full pass.

Down late, up early. I'm progressively less happy with the guy who retired daily.

My new radio mostly works but we couldn't get the steering wheel buttons to work. @Pesqueeb thinks he found the issue, so I'll play with it tonight. I figured out how to get my Android auto to work, so I'll do that if I have some down time today. More work meetings and presentations today.

Friend found a bike that is perfectly to pillage for parts for Haley. He'll also come over to build wheels with me, which is nice. She'll score a 9-speed, disc setup and Wifey's Float 80. Wifey will get the fork from the bike we're pillaging, as it will slacken the front out some on her Yeti. I might have her ride the Trek Fuel around a bit to see if she likes it better than the Yeti. If so (and I think she will because WSD), I will be some part swapping to upgrade her new* Trek and get Haley the parts she needs. Wifey was never a fan of the Yeti, we just got it cheap, so we got it.

Did you get my text/did that make sense?
Yes and I think so. I was pretty zoned out when I got home. I'll look at it tonight when I can think. My first goal today is to get the Android Auto to work. I got a mic ordered, which is why that didn't work (duh).

Should probably be on the Darwin thread but a general PSA from Yellowstone, bison may look mellow and act like cows most of the time but they have zero fucks to give...

These folks were supposedly < 10' away for over 20 mins (Park rules are 25 yards) but video does prove adage about just outrunning your friends (child) when being chased...

all we do is cruise with the windows down & house music or phish (her choices) just barely below ear damaging volume & only really chat when she asks me to turn it down to ask where the wind comes from.

yesterday a track came on there was some porno chick moaning & lola laughed and said it sounded like mom. lulz

Good Morning Monkeys!!! :pirate:

Thought I'd check in. Things are good! Buffalo and I are heading to Colorado tomorrow for his little brother's wedding. We will be in Winter Park, so planning to hit up Trestle BP on Sunday! If you have trails we should not miss, let me know!

Not much new here, life is really good, the biggest development is that my boy just passed the mark and is officially taller than me. Now I feel reaaaalllll old.

Pedal trails or park trails? I mean... park trails... just ride all of them, I suppose. I think they've built quite a lot of new trails since I've been there last (3-4 years ago?) but I always liked the Trestle DH trail... it's also the least "bike park" like trail there. Or at least, it was. Check out Mountain Goat for some old-school, rocky fun. Bit of a pedal back to a lift, though.

For pedal trails in the area... oh (wo)man there's a ton. Wouldn't even know where to start. I recall Broken Thumb to Twisted Ankle being right proper fun. Tons of stuff up near Tabernash (about 15 min north of WP) that are a good time. I think there's an app called Ride Oracle that has a good inventory of all the trails in that valley? Confirmed: Ride Oracle app.

Edit to add that this loop doesn't look shitty: https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/7005142/winter-park-east
