No water in the office building (and probably in the whole block). Some people are checking if local law means we have to stay at work or we have to hold shit in. Big props for the person who brought cake today.

Things are kind of settling down. Got the agreement that states I do not need to come to work for the rest of my employment so that is good.

Scaffolding around the house is coming down which is super nice. We can start to clean up outside the house.

Two days of skiing powder left my legs roasted.
Decided to NOT get a jump start on some Monday morning work last night and woke up to this ...

Sweet baby jesus. 31" in 72 hours. :dead: I need to go skiing.
Against SS's assurance that there would be no powder out of this storm, I found face shots (ha!) and boot top - knee deep snow off chair 1 the past two mornings and it'll only be better today. Like floating on clouds. Yesterday was laps of the Ridge until I couldn't stand.

Did Monarch close yesterday??

Mer. Back to work after 5 days off and 4 of those in Moab.

Wife joined me while riding Bar-M and Klondike Bluffs, solo day had me doing Slickrock. Weather didn't cooperate, so I had to skip Capt. Ahab this time around. I will be back!

Until then, enjoy a Moab sunset over Fins n' Things.

There is a very high chance if this occurs tomorrow that I will not be going to work.

En route to work in an Uber Express Pool after dropping off the meh Lincoln MKC rental. It’s going to be a busy one at work as the daytime weekend people left a lot unread...

'twas a good weekend. Did a road trip with my buddies

hit a little ski hill that had fresh snow

only a t-bar

did I mention fantastic glade runs and fresh snow?

took the AWD Sportswagon "offroading"... 10" deep ruts, and a melting surface made getting to the 'shed challenging. But the ol' minivan pulled through with amazing grace! We had to be our won road crew and fill in the ruts, which helped on the way out the next day, as they had frozen in.

Spent the night outside in my tent (on the 'shed's deck). It hit -10°C. Perfect! This was the view from my tent:

overall a great weekend

And now it's monday morning and I'm sitting in my cube, and I get a call from the school. My son tells them he's sick. He didn't look sick this morning. and he sure got better on Friday afternoon when he got home after saying he felt sick at school in the afternoon...

Looks like the pooch beat you guys to the shed.
He's an old feller... has more drive than stamina these days. he tried running up the t-bar track (it's that kind of hill... trail dogs everywhere, friggin' cool!). He made it up, but we had to wait for him a bit at the top. He made it down like a champ, but that was it for him. He slept off the rest of the day....

Sorry, I'm Canadian ..sorry...
If Monday had balls, I'd wind up and give them a good boot...

Left my coffee on the counter at home for the coffee-less commute....

Customer did bring Key-Lime bunt cake, so it's not a total loss..

2 Hours sleep however, not so good.

Morning monkies! My day started at the urologists so it can only get better from there... we finally have sunshine and warm weather, its going to be 41 degrees which is shorts and sandals weather up here.

I messed around with my new photo equipment this weekend and made a lot of progress, the learning curve isn't bad. I have offered to produce catalog stills for a company I used to do business with in the 90s, no pay unless they use them but the contract is all or nothing. 240 products. This will force me to learn fast as the delivery date is June 1st. If accepted the project will reduce their fall outsourced photography cost by 2/3.

Boss: Come by my desk when as soon as you are off the phone. We need to talk about XYZ that you did wrong.
Me: Check your email.
Boss: Oh. Never-mind then.

Got to ski some fresh saturday.
The trees at eldora delivered...for this season anyway.
Couldn't let loose like I wanted but hit some steeps with the 9 y/o. The girl is fearless & loves the trees.
Wish I was at WP or Abay right now & not the ppv porn factory. x.X

If that's the case, I might ditch work and join you.
it'll be warm during the week so all this weekend's delicious, deep pow will be a distant memory, BUT, fresh groomers with a few inches of soft snow will still be better than a day of painting walls or photos.

Seriously buddy, those family portraits better have like, Billy Dee Williams and ABBA making guest appearances in them.

Don't even get me started. I was not informed until Saturday that they were occurring, else I would have gone up Saturday.

edit: Okay, this one turned out okay.
