So I hooked up my new fangled digital TV converter last night.

Now instead of getting ~15 stations that come in really crappy I get 6 that come in really clear.



And PBS isn't one of them.



Guess maybe it's time to update my antenna.

I grabbed something that looks like this:

Mine has a "power gain" control for boosting the signal reception capacity that helps. Picked it up from Radio Shack for 30 bucks. Went from getting 8 channels to picking up about 22 (PBS has 4 different channels associated with it. One in HD.). I just tossed the antenna close to a window with the big rabbit ears collapsed cause the digital signal is only picked up by the UHF hoop, so it's pretty harmless and you can hide it out of the way. Going on 3 years that that bad boy has been in use. Awesome. And cheap.

SS doesn't have a TV. Its a fish tank with a cord sticking out the back. He just gets confused.
