Will the 2004 Hope Mono m4's work with horizontal dropouts? I do not care about range of wheel adjustment, but I do care about ease of setup. They will be going on a 2004 Specialized P.2. Does anyone have any info on this? I really have my heart set on these breakes, but I might have to go with a mini in the back if they dont work out.

That's a whole lotta brake in the rear... Why consider it over the mini mono?

Well, I can get the two as a package deal for a little more than the minis. I also ride alot of fast, longish DH and am worried about pump/fade. Besides, why not go all out?

I just built a Azonic steelhead with mono m4's for a friend. 185mm front and back. With this frame, you can only adjust the axle about 0.5cm font or back. (1/4")

Btw, it's kind of irritating that you have to unbolt the caliper every time to get the wheel out...

2-pot brakes are probably better for horizontal dropouts, but the m4's are oh so nice!:)
