I have an 07 RS Domain 318 coil w/160mm travel. Since I'm focusing on mostly DH, I'd like to increase the travel to 180mm, i.e. convert my 160mm Domain to the 180mm version. I've been researching the conversion via the documentation I could find on SRAM's site, and the only difference I could find was the spring shaft assembly. So...
I purchased the spring shaft assembly and pulled my fork apart. However, the existing spring shaft assembly and the new piece are the exact same length. The only difference looks to be *possibly* the material.
My question now is... how the hell do you convert the 160mm Domain to the 180mm version?
