Im going to install a pro bb on my frame but im totally oblivious to what i need tool wise. Can i just beat the cups with a rubber mallet? Or should i invest in a cup press. it is a profile by the way. Thanks

Granite, lots of granite
Well if it's a normal threaded bottom bracket, then you would need the tool to put it into the frame. Most BB's use the standard shimano style too. Some use different stuff. Is it a splined BB?

who makes it?

For like profile crank`s   ,if so ,you can use a hammer and a block of wood ,just make sure you cover the whole BB cup`s/ bearing holder ,with the block of wood ,and make sure the go in strait ,so if it starts strait ,it should stay that way , the old one you can use a punch and a hammer ,to remove :D :D :D :D ,good Luck ,it`s really easy
