yes, I have issues with the way apple put you over a barrel.

My sons gave me a nano, and everything LOOKS like it would work with winamp, and it seems like I am uploading some music (play lists with song and ok. I can see it with file views in winamp 5.32 and on my computer, but I can't see it with any of my menus on the ipod to actually play it. Ideas, gang?

Ipod functions as a flash drive as well as a music device. The I-pod probably considers the songs tou uploaded as files, not music. The best way to sync music withan ipod is to use I-tunes. There are a few other programs that work, ocassionally, but I-tunes is the only safe bet. You should be able to import your existing songs into I-tunes.

heh heh, the geek kid installed winamp plugin ml_ipod 2.00 and it works like a charm. More than anything I just hate looking at a bunch of freaking ads. I rip a lot of cds and have zero interest in buying stuff, so I just find it horrribly annoying.
