i'm googling & getting conflicting reports. something about mount werner, but don't see anything about lifts. however, i know there's a gondola. i'm going this wknd, & am hoping the lifts are open.

In short, no, go to Keystone or Sol Vista (which there is a race at this weekend)

so i had to at least go to the gondola & ask around, and yes, there are exactly 2 trails that are downhill, but only in the respect they end at a lower elevation than where they start.

i figure when spandex-clad xc geeks are whooping it up after a "run", this is what i'd call a red flag.

i'll be in the telluride neighborhood in 2 wknds, so if they're open i'll check it out (or maybe durango area).
