Speak of the devil, we did just that today. Rode way up an alpine valley to the box canyon at the end, then we hiked up the hillsides and rode down the bare tundra, jumping off natural features. Wasn't bad...'cept got a pinch flat a little while later and we couldn't fix it.I freeride.
