Has anybody tried any of the JAG disc brake pads for hayes hydraulic brakes? if you have, have you had any problems with them?

Every one I know who has tried the aftermarket Hayes pads was disapointed with performance, noisier and less power more fade etc. I don't know which ones they tried though. The guys at the shop recommended Hayes even though they had two other types one of which was more expensive. They didn't think they worked as well. EBC's might be pretty good though. They seem to have the credentials but I haven't even seen them here yet. JAG stuff is here though and their cable sets are pretty junky. Coated cables where the coating flakes off, brittle housing. JAG Just About Garbage.
so far i've tried Aztec (very poor performance) and EBC (pretty good, but not any better than hayes & they may be a bit noisier too).

i was just wondering because i tried them, and was having problems with them glazing up. put hayes back on and had no problem. was just curious if anybody else had the same or similar problems.
