I have a Judy Race fork and I noticed that the only adjustment I can make is a small knob and the bottom of the fork. I think this is for damping adjustments. There is a small knob to turn slightly either to + or -. Will this make any difference in my ride? I'm not familar with the mechanics of adjusting my fork.

The bottom knob is rebound damping. Turn it all the way on way and compress the fork and observe how fast or slow it returns. Turn it all the way the other way and do the same. Now try the same thing on the trail and see what serves you best. I had either a Judy race or sl a few years ago and to tell you the truth, I could not tell much difference and the cartridge damper failed in the first month anyway.

Cool, I'll give it a try. So far the fork has been good to me and is preforming well.

I tried playing with the knob but I can't really notice a difference. I'll need to see if I notice it over time.
