Reminds me of Army Reserve weekends in the winter when we would got out and do donuts in the snow all day long in these


700ft-lb of torque at 1500rpm made it kind of fun for "driver training" in winter accident avoidance.

I've done that, but in a CAT777C.

edit: and in a big open space... it was still pretty scary.

Haha...we do that all the time in our 773 D and E and our Komatsu 465. There is a really nice downhill righthand sweeper in our quarry that you can hit at about 30 mph and drift the truck the whole way around...

I guess you'd feel pretty safe drifting one of those compared to an actual car. You hit a curb in a car, and it's jacked up and you can get injured. you hit a house or boulder in one of those trucks, and you just keep on going.
