This coming Saturday July 5th will be our 1st of 4 ladies days this year at the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park. Ladies days will be on the 1st Saturday of each month we are open and all women receive a free lift ticket for the day (valued at $32.00).
Last year we averaged 17 women per ladies days.
This year we will have a donation box set up for the Tara Llanes Road to Recovery Fund.
We did raise a couple of hundred bucks for Tara for our film benefit on opening weekend but we think we can do better by setting up a donation box at all of our 4 ladies this year.

I am also guessing a few women from this site will be racing at our 3rd annual 5 KD H on 8-31-08 of this year. Great time to check out the course and ride for free.

Ladies Day # 1 was great. We were busy and I didn't even count how many women took advantage of the free pass. We even added to the Tara Llanes fund some more. 3 more ladies days to go. Looking good!
Lake Placid is very busy during the fourth of July with tons of tourists from all over the world. Most are just there to ride the gondola and check out the scenery. So a few women that didn't even know about the ladies days ended trying downhill for the first time. They looked pretty stoked at the end of the day too.
