I would be surprised.

Saw him loose the TDF to Lemond in Paris on the last time trail. Still have some old pictures of the two coming by on their old funky bikes.

Wonder if the dope had anything to do with the cancer.

There's been plenty of speculation that heavy doping regimens, especially from that era to the early 90s, have been catalysts for cancers in many otherwise healthy athletes (see: Armstrong).

It'd be tough to do a study, in any case.

Sucks about Fignon, though.
