Okay, my idea is simple.

To compile a google maps public list of all the Lift and Shuttle Served DH spots in the country/world.

I have 9 on the list so far, most in the NE as they're the ones i'm Familiar with.

What i ask: Post up the name and address of your DH spots, obviously they're resorts, and not your personal local trails.

why: so you can look at a big map and say... "i wanna go.... there!"

:lighten:

here is the link to what i have so far. http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&gl=us&ie=UTF8&oe=UTF8&msa=0&msid=104997510745313963552.000442be5bdc494aa9914

may need to log into google maps to view this, not sure.

I need some more info on Calabogie, and maybe an address or something for Bootleg?

Dap, i'll take a look at that. Thanks. It's amazing how many choices we have in the NE.

Timberline SKi Area
Located in the canaan valley, near Thomas and Davis WV

Second season and should open with two more new trails and a few ways mid mtn to mix it up.

link to map. I think there are over 8 trails there now, all 1000 vert runs in single and double track.

added all the latest you guys have mentioned. This is taking off. Makes me realize there aren't enough weekends in a year!
I took 3 months full time across country pulling a 40 foot toy hauler and only had enough time to hit 14 parks. and I was either on the road or on a run. it was awesome. I am getting location info on a park that my buddy owns in argentina (patagonia)

Do you know if there a way to make your/google maps modifiable by the public or at least a select group? I would help you out, but I dont know how to add a location to your map(I assume it is private to you're google and then savable in its current state)....???

Integrating software upgrades/changes made my multiple persons is a PITA..

Maybe a google group? A Wiki? Just sort of thinking out loud....
