All awesome shots. I thought the stiks pics ruled in when I viewed his links from the DH board before. It's cool to see how many people really love their kids. :thumb:

it's totally cliche, but enjoy it while you can. It really does go fast.

here's my 6'-16 year old monkey on Curly's in SV, first real MTB ride ever. How come I can't land on my feet when I go OTB?

and here's a college age monkey showing off ( so I'm old or I started young...)

Here's what they actually look like. Hard to get them standing still these days.

Because you either haven't been doing it long enough or you don't go OTB often enough. :D

YEAH!!!! Congrats to you & the mommy-to-be!
Thanks, guys. Mommy-to-be just started 'showing'. Can't wait to start taking the kinds of pictures I'm seeing in this thread. It's amazing how much just the thought of having a kid changes your whole outlook on what's important in life.

Y'all got such cute monkeys.

Here's mine on his bike...

and at his 4th birthday party.

Hey did you guys check out the other threads linked below?
They are perfect for when you get home a little buzzed after a great ride.
I think I hurt myself more laughing than I did in any of my numerous crashes this evening.
Fortunately, they were all on the bike.

Yup....Emily's coming up on two anda half, Grace will be 5 months tomorrow.

This is what happens when you don't frequent the lounge.

Your young 'un is pretty cute too BTW
Hmm, I've decided to spend more time in the lounge and less in the P&WN - it gets too serious in there and I'm getting too cynical. However, in my defence it was Christmas... belated congratulations, have you caught up the sleep yet?

Still, if you remember what I said about a correlation between good looking kids and smart parents we're clearly not as dumb as some people think we are...

Sarah got to try on her new helmet yesterday:

She really likes it:

So we went for a ride:

Daddy needs to gear down the SS when he's pulling the little one. Ugh.

I'd love to post a pic of my awesome daughter, but I'm not going to because of all the junk that goes on with photochoppin' on here...

But she's 12 years old, tall (5' 8.5"), slinder, and talented!

dude where do you road ride around the 'burg?
Loop I take when pulling Sarah...Out of our neighboorhood east to Ridgeview Dr. South on Ridgeview to "DD". West on the jogging path on DD which turns into Hale Lake Rd. Stop so Sarah can look at "the ducks" (geese really) at Lion's Lake. Various paths back north to Gay St. Gay St east to Ridgeview. South on Ridgeview a bit, then home.

I saw about 12 "real" roadies on the ride last night. There's actually quite a sizeable road bike "community" in the burg. There are a lot of roads to go explore around here. Lot of them are gravel or gravel/oil roads though for which a CX bike would be ideal.

My SS road bike has 23mm tires on it right now, I'll probably put some small CX tires on it soon and add a tooth or two on the freewheel.

That's why my daughter remains unposted also. My little boy can't read yet so...
