Hi. This is an open question to all riders. My dad and I are planning a bike road trip this April. We're planning to leave Seattle and hit the Oregon coast, into northern Cali (with emphasis in the Arcata area), across Nvada and finish up in Utah. So I was hoping to maybe tap into the mountain bike community's pool of knowledge for some tip-offs to some cool trails, bike shops, destinations etc. along the way. I've been riding the Washington northwest forever so this is a trip for getting out to explore some new environments. I'd be happy to trade for some insider info on the home trails here in Bellingham and Seattle. Thanks, D

if you hit oregon, you gotta hit, government camp, black rock, bend, sisters, ashland. then in N. cali you have happy camp, eureka, coosbay, then hop into the mendicino NF, then tear up tahoe, auburn, and north star, then hit the bay area, with oakland, pacifica, then santa cruz. by then you will either be broke, broken or you bike will be.
