I'm new here, headed over from the farkin.net forums (in aus) and have done a search here - found lots of positives for the 521/721 (same as on farkin) but not much info on the DT rims, so thought i'd post a thread.
I am looking for a lightweight yet strong DH rim, and the EX721cd was at the top of my list until I saw the DT's and thought I should consider them. I currently run 321/729 and want something lighter.
Mavic claims 590g for the 721, while DT claims 610g for the FR6.1 - but in my search on here, some people were saying they (DT's) weighed 690g?! Has anyone got a confirmed real world weight on the DT rims?
And finally, will the DT's hold up to abuse as well as the 721's?
Appreciate any opinions, hopefully there's some FR6.1 owners on here that can comment on how they've been holding up?
