Probably not a name you know immediately but you would have soon. I've been reading/listening to him for the last few years, primarily as a cohost/sometimes host of Sam Seder's podcast. Every once in a while someone brilliant with a damn funny sense of humor and a knowledge of world history and governments unmatched, pops their head up through someone else's gateway. He was that. A bit dry on his own podcast, ragingly hilarious on the Majority Report cohost role, but just really smart, fairly young and had just hopped on the early rocketship to stardom. You would have known this guy's name and face in the next year or two. There aren't a whole lot of people who make a positive impression on me. He was one of them. As we go back into an inevitible shelter in place scenario this fall, give a looksie.
RIP bud.
