Boys started summer vacation. Oldest one on a bus to grandmother on his own.

Started the new job today and picking my Audi A4 wagon after lunch. Not a bad start to the month.

At the house we are getting close to being done and will have the floors sanded this week on the first floor so we can start using that again.

Its been a crazy good summer in Denmark this year with constant sun and little rain so much as some plants in the garden has had a tough time. Not bad basically living on the beach especially now we have a great pizza spot on the beach with draft beer on tap too.

This whole move to Denmark thing is really working out so much as I can declare this the Summer of Claus

Goddamned ///motorcycle fell over in the driveway while I was closing the gate. Broke a turn signal and a floodlight, maybe more but couldn't tell in the dark. Probably cost me $300 to come to work this morning. Fucking fucking fuck. :rant:

FTS is high. I spent part of this morning looking at the deck brainstorming logic and order of operations to fix it then @dan-o ruined that party. So ready to not be here right now.

howdy. decent weekend. hot weekend. spent a good amount of time at the pool, got a bunch of overdue yard work done Saturday morning, but as always, more to do. drank a bunch of beers. between the heat and the chores, no biking was done, but probably for the best.

slow work week, lots of people on vacation. just found out office closes at 1 tomorrow. wednesday off, then thurs/fri on.

figured out what the most likely culprit is with my power washer.... unloader valve is seized and non-functional. not only that, its stuck in the pump and i can't get it out. it's currently in the freezer in the hopes that can help. if that doesn't work, anybody got suggestions?

Last night's 5-10 shift was annoying because the people on before me and my fellow 5-10er didn't pull their weight. They're supposed to read everything that gets done until 5 yet were thinking we'd sail in at 5 and take over their shit and let them skate. That's not how this works, compadre...

Morning monkeys! I ordered paint and bought supplies from Sherwin Williams yesterday, fortunately they have to order double deep dark base and it won't be in until after the 4th. $322.22 for 6 gallons and supplies. They also had 100 straight edge razors for $8 so I bought in case coke gets legalized.

Is it Monday already? How the time flies when you don’t have a job. Hanging out at a buddy’s house near Grand Junction to get the truck can camper all squared away before we hit the road. Got a healthy to-do list and it’s alwsys nice to have someone you trust working on it with you.

Also today, going to see the pack of wild horses and going on a jet boat ride. That doesn’t suck.

It's a beautiful day out here on the surface of the sun....continued oppressive heat with a chance of fire raining from the sky at any moment. Social media girl has baggy clothing on, so there is really no reason for me to stay in the office any longer than necessary today. I guess I need to go sell some signs...

Had a great time yesterday with the family - we went to a local swimming hole at the river and floated around in the cool water for a few hours. I played 9 holes out at the local dogtrack with a buddy, and managed to hit it forward and not collapse from a heat stroke.

Y'all be good Fonzie's out there. We need more Fonzie's.

WFH so the FTS is a little weaker today but still. A very interesting company that I sent a job application to in the 1st week of April just told me they were happy to go ahead and interview me, three months later. Dafuq is wrong with you, corporate people?? The hi-tech situation in Boston is god awful - water in this pond is stale and stinks. @CBJ's approach FTW.

My part is to just get it done. The colors were selected to show off our fancy danish modern furniture and some arty things, apparently the colors must all have the same sheen and depth... we're using an interior designer and nothing is my decision, it's penence for my recent decresionary purchase. I blame HGTV.

Have you tried a penetrating oil of some sort? Mouse Milk, Kroil, or last ditch, WD40? A good soak overnight in any of those can help loosen it up.
