My sister & her husband are signing up for a heart walk & I'm hoping to drum up some support from my fellow monkeys. Our Mom had a massive heart attack & a stroke back in Feb. & recently had another stroke. She's ok now but it sucks knowing things can change at any given time. They've made enormous progress in the ways of heart research over the years but so much more needs to be done. This is something that affects all of us...

Sorry to hear about your Mom - mine has heart disease and several stents so I know how you feel. It sucks that heart problems are hereditary as well. Start getting your cholesterol checked early!
