Caution where you by a Mt Galbraith map online. There is a separate person from the Wimps selling maps with a scam attached. What Bruce Brown does thru his website bizy@astonisher.com is you pay $14.95 for a map thru paypal. He doesn't tell you this, but he sets up the payment so you will keep getting recharged every year (recurring yearly charge).
Make sure you by your maps thru Wimps. The Wimps are the group the builds & maintains all the Galbraith trials. They have nothing to do with Bruce Brown.
Notify the Washington State Attorney General's office, if this has occurred to you.

Hey Kyle and everyone else,

Bruce has been selling his maps for many years for a profit through his site (www.galbraithmt.com). Here's two very good reasons why folks should buy them from the Whimps (www.whimpsmtb.org).

1. Money for the maps goes to the WMBC. The WMBC is the organization that builds and maintains all of the trails on Galbraith. In the past year and a half, we've rebuilt 21.8 miles of trail up there after timber harvest. That's almost 1/2 of the total mileage of trail.

2. The maps are WAY more accurate. We have a professional cartographer that makes these maps and before we do the next print run, we make adjustments to anything that's been altered, built or removed. The last batch was adjusted mid-summer and I went through all changes with our map guru. There's been changes already that will happen with the next print run and so on.

FYI, maps are also available at all of the Bellingham bike shops, so feel free to pick them up there as well.
