Damn! That thing is dialed... sweet build!
I know the focus for these is dirt, but have any of y'all used a gyro on a feedback? The frame seems perfect in almost every way except for the lack of gyro tabs.
Can someone tell me where I can get a BB spacer for my liquid? I tried using the bearings and spacer from my 20" Fit bmx frame but the spacer is too long and the bearings are sticking out about the thickness of a quarter on each side. Thanks
grind down the spacer...
but fwiw, maybe you have an odd sized spacer to begin with? i've used various setups on four different frames without any issues...
we almsot added removable tabs, but just didn't in the end. i haven't seen any setups with a gyro either...
Know anyone with a lathe?
I don't think i've ever ran a spacer.... EVER.
helps to not blow out bearings.
I was able to trim it to proper size with a lathe, thanks for the info. Ill post pics once the rest of my parts arrive.
Put this together last night.
Kink 8" Badger bars
Animal Edwin grips
Flybikes Potencia stem
Cult 510 chain
Odyssey C512 sprocket
Profile mini front and rear hubs
KHE park tires
man, that looks killer.
I figured I was in the extreme minority with this one. I pretty determined to have a gyro/rear brake on my next bike, though.
Nice build faze! Looks crisp with the all black part specs.
Just add some yourself.
Here's my Liquid. 22" tt. Most parts are from a complete WTP Avenger per cmc's recommendation. I did change bars and stem though. Bars are T1 Ruben's and stem is a Profile Push.
Why must university tuition be so damn expensive. I am very jelly of you guys.
i wish this thread would die haha, everyones one-upping me on my build and making me want to buy a second frame in pearl plum if mine ever dies. faze your bike is dope as heck. anyone putting a thomson seatpost on a bmx is radddddd
That's a clean looking ride right there Ratfink. I think this summer I might have to figure out how to trade up from my DK into a Liquid. They just look like so much fun to ride.
Thanks guys. Mine is certainly not the nicest build out there (faze, yours is just ridiculous, and somewhat the inspiration for mine with the black and plum pearl) I just love these Liquids, so I had to share!
thanks for the props, you guys have sick looking rides as well! Priorities are a must, and I know how you feel, took me a long time to put mine together but it was definitely worth it. When I seen Jeremy's bike on the liquid site last spring I was hooked.
I noticed the site is out of frames, are there plans to get more?
unfortunately, no, there are no plans in the immediate future...
love this bike. I need some action shots.....
^ Sick! Love the black on white decal action you've got going there. What fork is that?
Liquid Frame 22.25
S&M Race fork
Fit BF Stem
Rhyno Lite rims
Shadow rear hub 10 tooth
WTP front hub
Fly 25 sprocket
think that's everything...
This is my buddies Liquid.
Not sure of all the specs but here is what I do know.
Slam 7.25 bars
Profile no boss
Profile elite hubs
and here's an action shot of me. I posted this in the trails thread but since it's on a Liquid, I'm posting it here too.
Just thought I would share that your shots are getting around. Maybe you already know, or maybe you don't. Either way, check it out. http://cruiserrevolution.com/
Hey guys, new member here and figured since you guys basically designed the Liquid, Id put mine up here. Thanks to Jeremy for building a killer cruiser.
I've been away from this thread for awhile...
PNJ - That shot of you is SICK!!!! Man, those trails look like so much fun.
Nightsblood - That build is pretty amazing. I love the chrome with the blue. Well done, sir!
mine and ratfink's. we rode downtown austin to check out our trail bro coach's band The Rebelations play their first show.
since we are all showing off our Liquids here too...
and no, it's not just a cruiser with a slammed fork...
Is that yellow thing still being ridden? was a mistake proto, wasn't it?
yes and yes. i relaced a matching rim in the back though...
"New Frames Are Here! Posted on December 05, 2013"
the new trans brown is ill...
update! coming up on 5 years since building this bike and i still get envious and curious people wanting to ride it. since i built it ive only put in a new bb, new front tire, new pedals, and chicago'd the bars a bit... bb was a cheapie; i got a fat paycheck for new pedals , wanted a faster/lighter tire than dan's offered, and i finally settled on a good bar angle. at 6'7" no bike has ever fit me, except this one. best bmx ill ever have. gonna have to put it in my safe or closet. cant afford to have this one disappear as stolen or lost or who knows what
Picked this frame up last month and it could be one of the last V2 out of the warehouse. Finished the build recently and really looking forward to it!
I still stick with my 1995 huffy
