I've been away form the riding scene for a bit and decided to come back to it. I scoped the classified ads and scored a deal on a Steelhead... they are plentiful, have a decent rep, and are cost-effective.

UPS showed up this past Friday with a boxed up frame. I unpacked it and, since I decided to go with somethingother than the metallic blue it came as, I got to sanding, priming, and shooting the frame an ultra-flat blk. It came out stealthy looking and I think I'm going to go with some Miltitary Green Dangerboy components. Check he pics and let me know what you think.

Due to my screw up, the last pic is actually a pic of how the bike showed up.

Sweet, now yours looks just like mine and everyone else's out there. ;) Hmm, speaking of which, I'm about to rebuild mine, maybe I should pick a new color first...

how about wavy or round black instead of flat black?

Actually I've always wanted to do a flat black frame with glossy accents. Maybe stencil something out...
