i use this bike for freeride, so what the heck.
just missing my rhynolite wheels and a boxguide... but otherwise it's done!
Spec: waiting for part to come in
Frame: Specialized P.2 Cromo
Fork: Manitou Stance Flow
Wheels: Sun Rhynolite laced to Deore Disk
Cranks: Truvativ Hussefelt
Pedals: Shimano DX PD-MX30
Rear Der: Shimano Acera
Front Der: Truvativ Boxguide
Bar: Titec El Norte
Stem: Truvativ Hussefelt
Brakes: Hayes HFX-9
that's pretty much all that's important.
i've worked out how much i've spent to this point.
720 - 2005 Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc
125 - Fork
70 - Cranks, Bar, Stem
30 - Pedals
100 - Brakes
35 - Grips
50 - Shifter
280 - Frame
75 - Wheels (which i'm still waiting for to arrive at my house...)
all in all, it took me $1,490 to get to this stage, and i still have enough parts left over to rebuild my hardrock. considering at 2007 P.2 costs $1,100, i managed to build up a bike with comparable (or better in some areas) spec, and a trailbike to boot. i didn't do too bad, eh? (all prices cad)
