i am 14 and i am thinking about doing my first race this season, but i get nervous just thing about. does anybody out there get nervous before a race, and if you do what kind of things could i do to get over it?
I have done a few races now and i must say that it is completely normal to be nervous. For ur first race just do it to see what it is like and how good you are. It is not a big deal, just HAVE FUN.
sometimes ill get butterflies, but usually just breathing stops them. just think about having fun, not winning. also, try not to think about crashing. that usually makes you so nervouse that you will get sloppy or youll go so slow that it will not be fast (lord am i tired).
