I'm looking for a new frame/bike for trials/urban/play... what do you guys think of the Cortina 4130 Slalom frame and the Planet-X New Jack Flash? I will probably be running a 4" travel suspension fork...

The Planet-X looks to be much more trialsy, bashplate is nice but not as useful with a dual-ring crankset, can run a 5" fork, wild paint jobs that I may hate after a few months :), probably more tire clearance...

22.5" top tube, 16" chainstays, ~5" head tube, 70d head angle

The Cortina is made for slalom and urban, clear-coated steel is looks sweet, I like steel, $100 less...

Also, I'd like to be able to run a long seatpost as close to my proper leg extension (28" from BB to top of post) for getting between places (yea yea, I'm an XC weenie). The Cortina has a 16" seattube... which will probably work fine with a 400mm (15.75") post. Is the seat tube on the NJF nearly as long? The frame looks very compact and didn't find any specs on its length.

Thanks in advance!
