While certainly true, statistically speaking, I believe the odds are on the side of the peanut gallery. There is also the "lottery is a tax on the financially un-savvy/poor/stupid" factor to consider. There are too many horror stories regarding lottery winners, what seems to be a ticket to paradise too often turns bad...
