Good Morning!!

It's another sunshiny day out there. Yesterday was yesterday, today is not yesterday.

Last night was FIREbuilding! skills for my sons Webelos group. He's been disturbingly great at this particular skill for several years now, so he really stepped up and helped out some of the other kids who were less knowledgeable. I was proud of my little firebug - probably less so as I look into the crystal ball and see him charged with arson in 10 years, but for now, it's a win.

Y'all go out there and make it "Nothing bothers me Friday"

The desire to go outside was greater than the fear of getting wet and cold last night. Rode for a few hours in the rain and it was totally worth it. I did notice that my rear shock needs a rebuild. Would have been nice if it had waited a few more weeks, but might be time to just start riding the fat bike everywhere and hoping for snow.

Mornin!

Dog sitting for a friend. Golden retriever and the neediest dog I've ever met. Just cannot function unless she's touching you and getting pets. She woke me up at 330 AM and sat there staring at me until I got out of bed at 515.

My search for a 32.6 mm seat clamp is proving to be a bit tougher than I thought. No matter, I shall prevail.

Also, UPS delivered the package they lost for a few weeks. After the vendor had already sent me a replacement. Now they are spamming my phone with calls and messages about the matter. :stosh:

Oh god, my back and my legs. I am not aging well.

Woman child had her first violin concert last night. They sounded surprisingly good for a bunch of 8-9 year olds with only 2 months of practice.

MOAR ///Motorcycle today. Hopefully running by this afternoon. but wife is home with a cootie, so I may be forced to be more domestic.

All Golden Retrievers share the same brain, and each one is allowed 10 seconds of usage each day. It would be more irritating if they weren't so damn adorable and sweet.

"...What the hell is wrong with you, dog?"

Most likely. Would just need some measurements from @Adventurous

In hell. Welcome!
I am thinking a solo fun bike session @ lunchtime and a group ride @6. The thing that's brewing at work is starting to grow to monstrous proportions and I may well be caught in it like a breeding bull in an F5 tornado.

just paid my lawyer fee and court cost for my speeding ticket I got last month which ultimately decreases my dentist bike fund. Lawyer goes to court on my behalf. That was an expensive lesson learned. O'well its only my second ever ticket since I've been driving.

20 over. Speed limit used to be 55 and was recently lowered to 45. Mandatory court date. I didn't need a lawyer but for $150 lawyer fee figured it was worth it to not have tot show up. Hopefully get it reduced to improper equipment and no points.

have you tried paying attention and not driving like a wanker?

hate to be harsh, but my attitudes towards driving have changed a lot now that i'm routinely driving around with an infant and a toddler.

People who drive slow, unpredictably and without paying attention to others are orders of magnitude more dangerous than those who are observant of their surroundings, can read the traffic and drive fast.

Oh and my favorite part is people who don't know the rules and give way when they should not, confusing everyone, i.e. at traffic circles.

its one thing to drive fast, it's another to be absent minded and aggressive while driving fast. I've noticed around here the aggressive driving has gotten worse. two weeks ago i was on the way home from the climbing gym and some shitbag sons of anarchy wannabe was tailgating me (i was doing 45 in a 40 mind you) when he decided he was gonna pass me on the left (in a non-passing zone no less, and there's a very wide shoulder on the right). if he had waiting another 3 seconds he would have driven straight into me as i was about to turn into my housing development (despite me having my turn signal on with plenty of advance notice). fucker wasn't wearing a helmet either.

The classic Seattle dick move is to seemingly be unaware or refusing to follow rules but to do it in the most indecisive manner possible such as failing to stop at a busy 4 way intersection but just creep through it at 3 mph.
