I have seen various reports of how Oday treated Iraq's athletes (Oday was head of their Olympic Committee). He regularly tortured and beat athletes who lost or performed poorly. For example, he would beat the bottoms of soccer players' feet until the bones broke, then he would chain them up and make them stand for three days straight. He would also beat athletes down, then he and his friends would stand over them and urinate on them.
