I haven't mentioned this before, but I coached DJ Augustin when he was 10 years old.
I was an assistant coach on the New Orleans All-Star team, and we won a youth national championship with him at the PG.
I didn't teach him very much. He was probably better than I was when he was 5 foot even than I was as an adult, but I learned something from coaching him and watching him play.
Anyway, I haven't talked to him and his family since I left New Orleans, but I am very proud of him and the work I did.
