A little project I finally got off the ground. I figure since the replacement bearings are a taller cross section this means larger balls and more strength than the original ones.
Recipe for spaceface conversion
ingredients:
1. Raceface cups with ruined bearings, complements of BDee.
2. Spanish bottom bracket bearings. (bmx standard used by fly, T1)
3. BMX cranks with metric spindle diameter, wethepeople pictured.
Press bearings well and tighten crank bolts lightly. Serves up smooth and buttery...
