Bike Course for 24.12.6 Hours and X-Country Trail Work Update....
We have listened to your suggestions and have been hard at work improving our course for this year's race. We are working to make the course more rideable with less of a possibility of having to dismount! We understand that 873 ft of vertical climb per lap is difficult and are hoping that getting rid of the mud section helps! We are excited to showcase these changes to you!
So far we have:
-Added 200+ feet of new bridging
-Used 5 tons of stone dust to alleviate mud
-Added one completely new section of the course to circumvent the "hike-a-bike" section.
-The entire course has been leaf blown and work continues until race day!

Check out the new map and some photos of the Bike Course Trail Work Progress at: http://www.patspeak.com/summer/bike_course.html

The bike course for the 24/12/6 Hours of PATS PEAK and the X-Country Challenge is OPEN for Riding!
The course begins off the parking lot's west edge by the "Group Shack." Please practice common courtesy if a wedding ceremony or other activity is taking place in the Base Area. There is no charge to pre-ride the course. All participants and everyone alike are encouraged to ride the course. The course is a technical mix of single track, dirt, logging roads, switchbacks and downhill. The Downhill course is available for pre-riding ONLY on Saturday, June 13 for paid entrants.
