OK this is just a warm up. But it was a good time.

we will start off with riding other peoples Bikes !!

I Are Baboon , with a Titus Racer X , Mt Biker Chk with a Titus Motolite , Teresa with a a Moto Lite and Me with a 29er titaniam Racer X

I didn't get a pic of QuoFan with the carver ridgid , single speed 96er

But here is me on a canondale Prophet

Next ride we all changed out bikes

Next it is Teresa on a 2007 Cannondale Rush ( on its debut weekend ), Me on a Rocky Mountain ETX -5.0 , Maggie on a Titus Moto Lite , and QuoFan on a canondale Prophet

And my final ride for the Weekend , a Salsa Del Niner

But my Kids got into the act , and liked this riding other peoples Bikes

Had a great time, and spent the weekend trying to get Splat on the Carver 96'er rigid single.

MBC and I had a blast that ONE DAY we were there. I think we'll go for the entire weekend next year. IT was nice to finally meet Quo Fan and his little lady.

Bummer that I wrecked my front wheel on the BMX track.

Yeah, I was loving the climbing ability of the RacerX. It felt like I had a rocket strapped to my ass. The RacerX was not as smooth or fun as my Quasi Moto on technical stuff and downhills, but damn would that RacerX make a good race bike.

And the RacerX could handle all the bridges in the stunt park too.

The one I used had Sram triggers that were not quite dialed in, so the shifting wasn't all that smooth. It did have a carbon fiber rear triangle, making it super, extra, uber fast.

I felt really fast on the Racer X , of all the Bikes I Demoed over teh weekend the only one I really really liked better than my FSR XC was the Racer X , although the rocky Mt ETX was up there pretty close! and the wife really likes the Titus also !

when I get home tonight I will go through the rest of the Pics , I have about 300 -400 Pics to go through , and we didn't get home till 9 Pm last night ( wife tells me as we are driving home we had a cook out to go too )


Prophet was nice . But I liked my Bike better.

What were your impressions of the 29er Ti Rx and the Salsa?

Oh man, Pedros fest was SOOO WET!!! Jeebus! It was nice to meet Splat, IRB and MBC!

Demo'd a Motolite and a Rocky Mtn Element 70. I can honestly saw I, are you ready for this, HATED the ML! I really wanted to love it, but I was frustrated by it at every turn.

I loved the Rocky Mtn though! It had a Fox F100X on the front (its one of the model with the inertia valve) and that thing was tits!:love:

you shoulda told us! I went there and got a Trek Remedy. I didn't end up riding it because it was 34lbs

I wish I had Known , I demoed a Trek Fuel , and had to borrow dalton Dougs Helmet , because I didnt want to go back to our camp site to get my Helmet ( they would not let me take it with out a helmet. )

also they did a real good job of checking the bike over beofre giving it to me. My front Quick release skewer was loose.

On Saturady Morning , I took Peter and one of the Boy of one of the Pedros people ( long story ) on a "real" ride

We went on the vicious cycles loop and they loved it !

and there was some Mud

And as I got to the end of the loop I ran into QuoFan and Tersa , so I quickly dropped the boys off and went back into the woods .
