Does anyone know if the gate at Rat Pac is still locked? I've read some stuff on this forum and haven't heard anything about it. How is the condition of the trail, any new stuff and are there anything around worth exploring? I am heading there this weekend and want to invite anyone who is interested in meeting up at Rat Pac at lower parking area on Saturday July, 10 at 10:00 am. Hopefully we can shuttle....

Open, closed... Doesn't matter here.
I imagine that it's getting pretty dry and dusty by now. Was sprinkling over there this morning when I called the Ranger Station in Cle Elum. Partly cloudy when I looked at the WSDOT camera in Easton an hour ago. I'll be on the other side of the Ridge Saturday at West Fork but I know some folks that know the area will be riding the Rat on Sunday before going home.
There are several other routes off the ridge and now some monkeys have the map. Have fun.
