I'm looking at spending my fall in the sticks about 25 miles south of Fredricksburg (Lake Anna.) Can anyone give me the scoop on some trails in the vicinity? If there ain't much in a reasonable distance, that's ok, I'm pretty sure I'll be picking up a road bike in the next month, so I'll be pedaling and taking in the foliage, one way or the other. (though being rundown by pickup trucks is one of my less favorite activities.)

your best bet is poor farm in ashland. should be really close to lake anna.

give a call in to bike works, the bike shop in fredericksburg. i went to college there, but didn't really ride much at the time.
