Just when you think you have heard all of the stupid things that are going on in the U.S. -- this comes along.

Black hurricanes

Well, it appears our African-American friends have found yet something else to complain about. A black congresswoman (this would be Sheila Jackson Lee, of Houston ), reportedly complained that the names of hurricanes are all Caucasian sounding names.

She would prefer some names that reflect African-American culture such as Chamiqua, Tanisha, Woeisha, Shaquille, and Jamal. I am NOT making this up!

She would also like the weather reports to be broadcast in 'language' that street people can understand because one of the problems that happened in New Orleans was, that black people couldn't understand the seriousness of the situation, due to the racially biased language of the weather report.

I guess if the weather person says that the winds are going to blow at 140+ MPH, that's too hard to understand.

I can hear it now: A weatherman in New Orleans says...

''Wazzup, mutha-fukkas! Hehr-i-cane Chamiqua be headin' fo' yo ass like Leroy on a rocket! Bitch be a category fo'! So, turn off dem chitlins, grab yo' chirren, leave yo crib, and head fo' de nearest FEMA office for your FREE ****!''

clearing out my spam folder, obviously

Subject: As I Age....

Please read to the end even if you think you’ve seen this,
You’ll shed a tear after this one….

As I approach my twilight years, I am struck by the inevitability that the
party must end. And one clear, cold morning after I'm gone, my spouse will
awaken in the warmth of our bedroom and be struck with the pain of learning
that sometimes there isn't "anymore."

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone
calls just to chat, no more "just one minute."

Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never
to return before we can say good-bye, say "I love you."

So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it when it's
broken and heal it when it's sick.

This is true for marriage.....And old cars. And children with bad report
cards, And dogs with bad hips. And aging parents and grandparents. We keep
them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.

Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law
after divorce. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter
what.

Life is important, like people we know who are special. And so, we keep them
close!

Suppose one morning you never wake up, do all your friends know how you
really feel? The important thing is to let every one of your friends know
your true feelings, even if you think they don't love you back.

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please vote against that asshole, Obama.

uncle in SC's turn

Isn't it amazing that, within only one week of Tiger Woods crashing his Escalade,
The press found every woman with whom Tiger has had an affair during the last few years?

And, they even uncovered photos, text messages, recorded phone calls, etc.!

Furthermore, they not only know the cause of the family fight, but they even know it was a

9 iron from his golf bag that his wife used to break out the windows in the Escalade.

Not only that, they know which wedge!

And, each & every day, they were able to continue to provide America with updates

On Tiger's sex rehab stay, his wife's divorce settlement figures, as well as the dates &

Tournaments in which he will play.

Now, Barack Hussein Obama has been in office for over three years, yet this very same press:

Cannot find any of his childhood friends or neighbors;

Or find any of Obama's high school or college classmates, or any of his former girlfriends;

Or locate any of his college papers or grades;

Or determine how he paid for both a Columbia & a Harvard education;

Or discover which country issued his visa to travel to Pakistan in the 1980's;

Or even find Michelle Obama's Princeton thesis on racism.

They just can't seem to uncover any of this.

Yet, the public still trusts that same press to give them the whole truth!

Don't you find that amazing ?

NOW TELL ME THERE IS NO CORRUPTION IN THE AMERICAN PRESS

You cannot get the water to clear up until you get the pigs out of the creek.

Subject: FW: Good stuff...

Mitt Romney:
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar, but never worked as an attorney.
As a venture-capitalist, Romney's first major business deal involved investing in a start-up office supply company with one store in Massachusetts that sold office supplies. That company, called Staples, now has over 2,000 stores and employs over 90,000 people.
Romney or his company Bain Capital (using what became known as the "Bain Way") would go on to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.
Got your calculators handy? Let's recap.
Volunteer campaign worker for his dad's gubernatorial campaign 1 year.
Unpaid intern in Governor's office 8 years.
Mormon missionary in Paris 2 years.
Unpaid bishop and state president for his church 10 years.
No salary as president of the Olympics 3 years.
No salary as MA governor 4 years.
That's a grand total of 28 years of unpaid service to his country, his community and his church. Why? Because that's the kind of man Mitt Romney is!
And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income....Obama gave 1%
Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%
This is real character vs....well you know what!
Romney is the best representative the Republicans could have selected. I know what religion he is, and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or squander my money on vacations. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the "Spending President" has gotten us into. We didn't know that when Obama said he'd give us change, he meant nickels and dimes, and he would get the big bucks. We won’t like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney’s background can do it.
But, on the minus side, He never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked pot. Never got drunk. Did not associate with communists or terrorists. Nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.
Do Us all a favor. Please send this to others who may be ill informed.

Need to keep this Prayer going. Send it to others and all your friends.

Dear Beloved God in Heaven
Please give us a president that loves this country and everything it stands for.
Please give us a president who respects you as the one true God.
Please give us a president who will, with your help, restore this nation to its former glory, the way you created her.
Please help us to respect what you have given to us and not take anything for granted ever again.
Please God weaken the evil and strengthen the good both without and within.
May our eyes be opened.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

God Bless America

in light of the election results, this is making the rounds:

I'm not sure it was really 47 years ago Paul Harvey said this but just the same most of what he says has come to pass.

This was 47 years ago. April 3, 1965. An amazing prediction. Do you remember the famous ABC radio commentator Paul Harvey?
Millions of Americans listened to his programs which were broadcast over 1,200 radio stations nationwide.
It's short...less than three minutes. You will be amazed.

I posted that somewhere around these parts awhile back.

I love how god fearing christians say god answers their prayers when good things happen and that god works in mysterious ways, etc but if something goes against what they want, then it's the work of SATAN.

"god is going to come back to earth and save his people..."
"all the homo's/druggies/muslims/etc are destroying the world..."

doesn't the world have to be fvcked up so god has something to save his people from? you can't have your cake and eat it too. They should be happy the world is getting fvcked, no?

Interesting slant on thing

AMERICA'S HUNTERS --- Pretty Amazing!

The world's largest army...
America's hunters!
I had never thought about this...

A blogger added up the deer license sales
in just a handful of states
and arrived at a striking
conclusion:

There
were over 600,000 hunters
this season in the state of Wisconsin.
Allow me to restate that number:

Over the last
several months,
Wisconsin's hunters became the eighth
largest army in the world.

More men under arms than in Iran.

More than France and Germany combined.

These men deployed to
the woods of a single American state,
Wisconsin, to hunt with
firearms, and no one was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the
750,000 who hunted the woods of
Pennsylvania and Michigan's
700,000 hunters,
all of whom
have now returned home safely.
Toss in a quarter million hunters
in West Virginia
and it literally establishes the fact
that the hunters of those four
states alone would comprise the
largest army in the world.
And then add in the total number
of hunters in the other
46 states.
It's millions more.

The point?

America will forever be safe
from foreign invasion
with that kind of home-grown
firepower.

Hunting....
it's not just
a way to fill the freezer..
It's a matter of
national security.

***************************************
That's why all enemies,
foreign and domestic,
want to see us
disarmed.

Food for thought,
when next we
consider gun control.
Have A Great Day!
-------------------------------------
Overall it's true,
so if we disregard some assumptions
that hunters
don't possess the same skills as soldiers,
the question would still remain...
what army of

2 million
would want to face
30, 40, 50 million armed citizens.

(IF YOU AGREE, AS I DO, PASS IT ON, I FEEL GOOD THAT I HAVE AN ARMY OF MILLIONS WHO WOULD PROTECT OUR LAND AND I SURE DON'T WANT THE GOVERNMENT TAKING CONTROL OF THE POSSESSION OF FIREARMS)

For the sake of our freedom,
don't ever allow gun control
or confiscation of guns.

friend of the family said:
Do you have a gun in the house?
When I had my gangrene gallbladder taken out and spent 10 days in the hospital for what should have been an overnight stay the insurance company kicked me out. I had home nurse visits for two weeks and was asked if I had guns in the house. I responded that if I did I would not tell them. So the below has some merit.

FYI, I am passing this along... These are comments from two other people who have also been asked if they keep guns in the house.

The nurse just kinda slipped it in along with all the other regular questions. I told her I refused to answer because it was against the law to ask.

Everyone, whether you have guns or not, should give a neutral answer so they have no idea who does and who doesn't. My doctor asked me if I had guns in my house and also if any were loaded. I, of course, answered yes to both questions. Then he asked why I kept a loaded gun close to my bed. I answered that my son, who is a certified gun instructor and also works for Homeland Security, advised me that an unloaded, locked up gun is no protection against criminal attack.

The Government now requires these questions be asked of people on Medicare, and probably everyone else.

Just passing this along for your information: I had to visit a doctor other than my regular doctor when my doctor was on vacation.. One of the questions on the form I had to fill out was: Do you have any guns in your house?? My answer was None of your damn business!!

So it is out there! It is either an insurance issue or government intervention. Either way, it is out there and the second the government gets into your medical records (as they want to under Obamacare) it will become a major issue and will ultimately result in lock and load!!

Please pass this on to all the other retired guys and gun owners... Thanks, from a Vietnam Vet and retired Police Officer: I had a doctor's appointment at the local VA clinic yesterday and found out something very interesting that I would like to pass along. While going through triage before seeing the doctor, I was asked at the end of the exam, three questions: 1. Did I feel stressed? 2. Did I feel threatened? 3. Did I feel like doing harm to someone?

The nurse then informed me that if I had answered yes to any of the questions I would have lost my concealed carry permit as it would have gone into my medical records and the VA would have reported it to Homeland Security.

Looks like they are going after the vets first. Other gun people like retired law enforcement will probably be next. Then when they go after the civilians, what argument will they have? Be forewarned and be aware. The Obama administration has gone on record as considering veterans and gun owners potential terrorists. Whether you are a gun owner, veteran or not, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !

If you know veterans and gun owners, please pass this on to them. Be very cautious about what you say and to whom.

They are coming for us, so unless you're an ostrich, do not stick your head in the sand..........
so just highlighting the first sentence -> right click -> search google for...:

Hobby Lobby is trying to catch up with Chick-fil-A. Bull**** unconstitutional claims that the government has to endorse their religious values. If church wasn't separate from state we'd get even less done considering the the variety of religions that have values that run counter to numerous government programs - war, farming/food programs (eating meat or particular types of meat), sexual equality, working hours etc.
