I know we've had the conversation before, but I can't find the thread. I want to build up a SS specific wheel for my SS cross bike. Any suggestions on hubs? I know it's a 5mm difference, but can I use a non disc mtb hub?

Depends on the frame, you might be able to spread it. But if you're a perfectionist like me, you'll want to get a 130mm. You could go a couple of different routes, from the cheapo freewheel/fixed hub, or something nicer, like a Phil Wood or something.
I have a White Industries ENO on my SS CX, but my frame is 135mm spaced. They make it in a 130mm spaced version too, and I really like this hub. Get one of their freewheels too, they're f'ing amazing, lightyears beyond the typical BMX setup.

My coworker has King SS hubs built on the new 303 rims as his SSCX wheelset. Amazing.
