I just got my Azonic Recoil the other day(mad props to neversummersnow) and i dont have the bolt to mount the shock to the linkage piece, i have searched every hardware store in town and can't fine the right bolt with the correct diameter AND pitch(thread angle), so i have considered just drilling out the threaded side of the linkage, and that way i would be able to just run a bolt with a nut thru it perfectly.... is this a stupid or okay idea?

It should just be a M8 bolt. Call Azonic and ask what size you need, then order one online if you do not have access to a metric fastener supplier locally. www.boltdepot.com These guys are really cool.

Are you sure they're M8 bolts? As in, metric and not SAE?

"Standard" pitch on a M8 is 1.25 I think.

Your best bet is obviously to call Azonic tomorrow morning, they'll probably just give you a new one.
