I just bought a DH bike from my uncle and it has a 2002 DC Shiver on it. The bike hasn't been used in at least five years and wasn't ridden hard when it was used. I plan on entering some races this summer. Should I do anything to the fork or have it adjusted for my weight? Are there any good shops out there that could do it for me?

id defo recommend taking it to your LBS and having them look it over.. or if you can rebuild stuff, do it yourself (assuming you can still get parts). id also go over everything and make sure that nothing is loose, out of place etc.
really just depends how good your mechanical skillz are. as for finding your local bike shop, use google or a phone book. not that hard..
