I've decided on the Fox V3R for this season, but does anyone know if the helmet shell is larger on the moto V3 than the DH V3R...? Assuming it is, but just want to check for sure. The V3 has way nicer graphics choices over the V3R but won't get it if it makes my head look massive, the R is already a bit on the big side.

When I bought my V3R at Sol Vista, the Fox Head rep was there, and I'm pretty sure he said the V3 moto helmet and V3R used the same shell mold, just less plies on the bike version. The V3R is a big shell, for sure.

Exactly. It's not available for sale in moto in the US b/c it doesn't meet one of the US standards...I believe it may be the DOT impact standard. Lots of threads on here about it. Good luck digging through them.

Sorry for the dig, I just need more info on the sizing, specifically the eps size.

I ordered an xl v3r since its on closeout, backup for my d3 just in case. Is the eps on the L and xl the same? In case the xl is too big Ill just order up L liners...

Im an xl in the D3, heard the L v3r fits the same as an xl D3?
