i think i picked up something similar to what you had IRB. i woke up around 1:30 am this morning a puked a few times. still don't feel too great.
on the upside tomorrow should be a pretty epic powder day at kirkwood.

This is about as HUGE as I go on skis...here in the kiddie terrain park at Alpine Meadows.

Hard to believe that they've got 12 feet of snow on top of that bare ground now. 
Look at that trail map. The "Chutes" section and everything to the left of it was closed.

It got really warm up here today and is supposed to be warmer tomorrow. Should be a nice day but don't expect to be riding in bottomless pow anywhere.

I'm super jealous!! My wife and I usually go every year, but i started a new company and can't be away for more then a day or two right now.
What mountains are you going to?? Squaw and Heavenly are my two favorites out there. They have been getting snow the last couple of days - have fun, shouldn't be to hard to.

Edit: Squaw was absolutely terrible last year and we didn't do Heavenly, so I'm looking forward to them this year.

At squaw get on the KT-22 chair if your into the steeps/big mountain lines/cliffs. Actually there are so many lines anyplace all over that mountain. Heavenly is all about the tree sking to me. Just duck into the woods wherever you feel comfortable doing so. Full report expected upon your return and have a safe and fun trip.We're planning on skiing:
