i hadnt posted anything about this race i organized this summer, never found a small video of it and we havent gotten around to releasing anything official yet

so cruising a very cool "stick-it-to-the-man" site i found this one!

Looks a bit sketchy, should be heaps of fun to ride, but the proximity of the crowd in a few places is a bit of a worry.

well it worried me sick in the afternoon while the guys were practicing and people just didnt start showing up, i had to use friends and friends of friends (read: forced labor) to contain the crowd in some placed but in the end it turned out ok, even with race speeds (video is from the first practice runs) there were no spectator incidents, a deal of luck involved im sure but its something ill have to sort out for next year, we had a dozen cops lining the course and lots of personnel but it turned out to be almost impossible to convince people to move back only a little.
