I played with the SX shock. Its just a standard fox shock. Any other fox coil should work on there, air might be a problem.

It is just a different mount for the air shocks. 1 piece instead of two pieces and a spring retainer plate.

The latest Decline has an ad for the 2009 SX frame (4.2" travel version) w/ Fox air shock on it.

It really is a smart way to fixture the shock, no more replacing worn out DU bushings after a few months (in some cases).
