Hey i am just getting into freeriding and was wondering would a specialized SXT II be a good FR bike.

Will it hold up in FR area some resort mostly local?
Will there be enough travel for the DH area?

I have been riding a trek HT for a couple of months mostly Dj's and 5-6ft drops to trannys so i am proggressing pretty quickly which provokes another question.

Will I out grow this bike quickly?

Thanks
Brad

The picture on my wall behind me is Darren Barrencloth doing a 15 foot switch 360 to 360 table, on a SX Trail.

I recently built a SX-T I, and it was very beefy. The stock build was about 39 lbs.

I think it will handle the kind of riding you are doing nicely. The Big Hit series is also looking pretty sweet too.

I thought your parents would buy you whatever you wanted. Go back to your pokeman cards and let this dude get some answers.

TBC, the SX is a decent start to FR riding. It will let you try a little of everything. If you do decide to get more into DH, FR, Trail Riding, ect you can branch out from there. I would say that if the price is right go for it.
