This is my girlfriend's 2009 SX Trail she bought as a leftover in 2010. She wants to sell it because she doesn't do the kind of riding that this is made for. It does have a light scratch on one of the fork stanchions and some scratches on the frame. Otherwise, it is in incredible condition. The frame is smooth and silent. No creaks at all. The transmission and brakes work perfectly.

    Specs:
    2009 SX Trail 2
    Rear shock: DHX 5.0
Fork: Fox Van RC2 Has just been fully serviced
Brakes: Avid Elixer Carbon (great breaks, have always been problem free)
Rear Derailleur: 2014 SRAM XP with clutch
Cranks: Truvative Stylo with E13 Chainring
    Pedals: Straitline
Wheels: DT Swiss rims on Specialized Hubs
    Tires: 2.4 Conti Trail King
    Seatpost: Thompson Elite
Notes: One-uip 42 tooth rear cassette conversion (works perfectly!)
    MRP G3 Chainguide

    Hi,

I'm a brazilian mountain biker, female 5' 2'' and I'll be spending a few weeks in NYC in March. One of my goal is buying a new mountain bike.

I'm very interested in this bike, I'm looking for an affordable full suspension and I'm very keen on Specialized mountain bikes.

Are you still selling your girlfriend's bike? And where in New England are you located? Is it possible to take a train from NYC to your city?

    Best regards,

    Daniela

Yes, the bike is for sale. My girlfriend is 5'2" as well, so it should fit perfectly!

It is possible to take the train, but it is not a short trip. I am located in a town south west of Boston. I could meet you in Boston or Providence, Rhode Island.

Hi Dave, thanks for your quick response!

I'm very interested and could easily take the tour up to New England.

I still haven't bought my plane ticket so I'm not 100% sure when I'm arriving in the US; but I should probably be there around March 18th-20th.

I'll let you know when I have the ticket in my hands.

In the meantime, do you have an e-mail address I can write you? Or you can find me on Facebook with my full name: Daniela Castanho Franca

    Best regards,

    Daniela
