Yesterday, Valentine's Day, my deceased husband's beloved orange 953 steel Rikulau road bike was stolen IN BROAD DAYLIGHT after it was parked, locked at Planet Granite, SF climbing gym. This unusual orange bike, purchased in 2010 from A Bicycle Odyssey, Sausalito, was kitted out with SRAM group red, HED wheelset, Ritchey stem, FIZIK seat. The bike was on long term loan to a dear friend who is just as sad about this as I am. Today would have been my husband's 60th birthday. Almost certainly if he were here today he would have been out on that bike enjoying the glorious early Spring weather. Surely there is a very special place in Hell for the person(s) who stole this bike? If you see it out and about, or see it posted for sale, contact U.S. Park Police Officer Floyd re: Case #021416-54. Thanks!
